Embarking on a fitness journey with me means diving into a deeply personal experience. As your personal trainer, I make it a priority to grasp your individual needs and aspirations. Whether you're aiming to build strength, enhance speed, shed fat, gain mass, refine agility, or improve mobility, each goal requires a distinct approach. Some of my clients seek a blend of these objectives, while others focus on specific areas.

In our personal training sessions, we engage in open dialogues about your current fitness routine, past experiences (if any), and your vision for the future. Your success is paramount to me, and I am dedicated to crafting a plan that is finely tailored to your unique requirements.

Matty’s Process for New Clients

  • 1-on-1 Consultation

    First, I listen. As your personal trainer, I understand that every person has unique needs and goals. Whether you're training for strength, speed, fat loss, mass, agility, or mobility, each requires a different approach. Some clients need a combination, while others focus on just one or two aspects. In our personal training sessions, we'll discuss what you’ve been doing (if anything), your current training routine, and your aspirations. Nothing is more important to me than helping you achieve your desired results in a way that’s tailored specifically to you.

  • Go Through a Workout With Me

    With decades of experience as a personal trainer, I’ve learned to pick up a lot of valuable insights simply by observing athletes during their exercises. Together, we'll go through your workout, and I'll be right there beside you, learning and adapting along the way. From there, we'll craft a personalized plan to progress your workouts. We all have unique strengths and areas for improvement, but with my guidance, we can work towards becoming even better versions of ourselves.

  • Be Consistent

    Every athlete I've worked with has shown incredible progress and confidence through our personal training sessions. All you need to do is show up and be consistent, and I'll take care of the rest. If your priorities ever change, just keep me updated, and we'll adjust accordingly. Together, we'll achieve your goals and make strides towards becoming the best version of yourself.

Fitness Training Styles

  • Not everyone needs every training style to achieve their goals. With significant knowledge in many training disciplines, I can mix various elements such as HIIT, bodybuilding, boxing, strength and powerlifting, agility, and more. Many people may know a few exercises on cable machines, but I can guide you through countless effective options. The key is to utilize the right training style for your individual fitness goals. At Animal Farm Fitness, I focus on what actually works to help you succeed.

  • For high-intensity cardio routines, I might incorporate sets of Tabatas, 30-second intervals, or timed sprint challenges. Sometimes, we use interval training with weights, cardio machines, and weighted carries. This can be done as the main routine or as an intense finisher.

    Cardio is often an overlooked component of fitness, especially when it comes to longevity and heart and brain function. I ensure this crucial aspect is never neglected, providing a comprehensive approach to your health and fitness.

  • You don't have to figure it out on your own. Just let us know what you're aiming to achieve, and we'll handle the rest. We’ll identify the best training style to meet your goals and take the guesswork out of the process.

  • Gaining a significant amount of muscle is much harder than most people realize. Bulky muscles require a specific style of training, which we offer but isn't for everyone. Share your desired results with us, and we will design a simple and effective plan to help you get stronger without adding bulk.
